Why it matters

Empty lines cost

Close zero-balance lines to free incremental reserve

Reserve drag

~1.4 XRP

Typical freeable reserve from a handful of empty trust lines — using live incremental reserve from the network.

01 — Noise

Empty lines still cost XRP

Each owned ledger object raises your owner reserve. Zero-balance IOUs look harmless but keep incremental reserve locked until you close them with a TrustSet.

02 — Signal

See freeze flags before you act

Manager and Risk surface freeze state next to balance and limit — so frozen balances and noisy issuers are visible before you touch a line.

03 — Free

Close noise, reclaim reserve

Cleaner estimates freeable XRP from empty lines. You sign every close in your wallet — XRPline never holds keys or seeds.

Three views. One account.

Scan an address free to browse. Sign TrustSet when you want Cleaner closes — each signed TrustSet can free incremental reserve.

Manager

Cleaner

Zero-balance candidates and estimated freeable XRP. Closing needs your wallet signature.

Risk

Freeze / empty heuristics only — not investment advice. Verify issuers yourself.

FAQ

Short answers first — full detail in Docs and Glossary.

What is an XRPL trust line?

Permission on the XRP Ledger to hold a specific issued token from a specific issuer. No line → inbound IOU payments fail (tecNO_LINE).

How much XRP does an empty trust line lock?

Most trust lines count toward owner reserve. The app reads live incremental reserve from the public ledger (often ~0.2 XRP per object after late-2024 reductions — confirm live values).

Does XRPline custody funds?

No. Non-custodial. You sign TrustSet transactions in your wallet. We never request a seed or private key.

Where does account data come from?

Public XRPL nodes and XRPSCAN API for account/trust-line surfaces used by the app. See Methodology.

Is XRPline affiliated with Ripple Labs?

No. Independent tool for the open XRP Ledger. See XRP vs XRPL vs Ripple.
